Another year is here. As we wrap up 2023, we look back at a year which pointed towards transition.
While we worked on many of our typical project topics throughout 2023 such as education and health, most had new dimensions to them. Some were with new clients. Others explored new types of outputs, such as the malaria communications strategy document and the urban programming guidance report. We also used some of our primary research methods in new ways, such as using transformative digital storytelling (DST) for projects on self-care and sexual reproductive health, or combining elements of participatory focus groups and people-driven design for an experimental study on those working on the street in Jakarta.
During 2023, we continued our collaboration with partners such as Burnet, UNICEF Indonesia, Quicksand Design, and Stats4SD. In addition, we collaborated with new clients including UNDP Indonesia, ITAD, Wellcome, University of Gadjah Mada, Tanoto Foundation, the University of Amsterdam, and WHO.
We express our gratitude to all of our partners and we hope many of these collaborations will continue! A big shoutout as well to our amazing team, including all of our research associates for their continued contributions!
We look forward to continuing to build on our approaches in new ways in 2024!
