1. Writer
Are you a strong English writer looking for a new challenge?
This Writer role will provide high-quality writing to assist our project teams with tasks and deliverables such as progress reports, literature reviews, inception reports, research proposals, and research reports, along with others.

Skills and background needed:

Strong spoken and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, essential.

2. Qualitative Lead Researcher (ongoing)
If you are strong believer in research and projects that spend time to get to know the communities they work in and understand the local context, this is for you!
The Lead Researcher is to ensure the high-quality technical design and delivery of all aspects of a study, from the proposal stage until the final report. Lead Researcher also oversees studies and is not limited to participating in the studies by Empatika, also take on other roles as project directors and related work.

Skills and Background needed:

Demonstrated experience implementing and designing qualitative research, essential.

Experience designing or implementing participatory research approaches, preferred.

Experience engaging with quantitative research components or leading quantitative data collection exercises, desirable.

Experience managing research studies or projects, including team coordination and logistics, desirable.

Experience implementing studies or projects in an international context (outside Indonesia), desirable.

Education background in social sciences or humanities (S2 or above), preferred.

Experience working with bilateral or multi-lateral donors, preferred, and demonstrated client-management skills, essential.

Strong presentation and research communication skills, preferred.
